Coaching Applications Now Being Accepted

Interested in getting more involved with DYF?  Coaching applications are now being accepted for both the spring 2024 LDF season as well as the Fall 2024 DYF and LDF seasons.  Please follow this LINK to fill out a short contact form.  You will contacted to schedule an interview which will be conducted in May.  Thank you!

Questions about your Fall 2024 DYF uniform size?

DYF has partnered with Not Just Soccer to make jersey samples available for players to try on at their convenience.

Sample FLAG AND TACKLE jerseys are available at their Southlake store located at 611 E Southlake Blvd (near Peace, Love, & Donuts).  Pop in to try on jerseys and then submit your information via the QR code to the right.  The staff at Not Just Soccer is also trained to help properly fit a variety of gear they carry including helmets, pads, and pants.

Please keep in mind:

  • Flag uniforms (Kinder - 2nd) are looser fitting than tackle uniforms (3rd - 6th) which should be very tight.
  • The information submitted on this form will supersede the sizing information submitted in registration.

IMPORTANT - Jerseys are custom-ordered!

Reprints not due to a manufacturer error (like new size requests) will cost each player $55 per jersey and take several weeks to arrive.  DYF is not financially responsible for reorders if the wrong size is ordered by parents.  Please take the opportunity to try the jerseys on and confirm you are entering the correct size. Thank you!

Lady Dragon Football

Dragon Youth Football (DYF) is excited to introduce Lady Dragon Football.

This flag football program will have divisions from K/1 thru the 8th grade.  Our mission is to ensure all girls in Southlake & surrounding communities have an opportunity play the great game of football and have fun while learning the game of football in a positive, enthusiastic, encouraging environment. This program gives our daughters a platform to showcase their skills and compete with one another in a healthy environment.

Lady Dragon Football will help build strong character, confidence and self esteem in our daughters.  We are confident that the lessons learned between the lines will help prepare them for their adventures ahead.  Teams will be grade based and formed through a draft.

3rd Grade Rookie Tackle

Dragon Youth Football (DYF) is excited to partner with USA Football and its adoption of the United States Olympic Committee's American Development Model (ADM).

This program is designed to focus on the proper development of young players, increase enjoyment and ensure the sports long-term viability.

For 3rd Grade Tackle Football we are excited about our Rookie Tackle Program.  Through close coordination with USA Football, we successfully implemented a modified approach to tackle football.  This program has been implemented across the Nation with amazing results.  It's a bridge between Flag Football and Full 11v11 Tackle Football.
